Zapote is a contemporary Mexican restaurant and bar founded by Chef Yahir Gonzalez and restaurateur Tony Geary. Together, they combine deep-rooted Mexican culinary knowledge with decades of international hospitality experience.

Born in Aguascalientes, Mexico, Yahir brings the flavours, ingredients and techniques of his heritage to a modern London kitchen. Heritage corn, house-made tortillas, chillies and spices meet seasonal British produce and the elemental character of fire.

Tony shapes the restaurant’s warm, generous style of hospitality. Both founders remain hands-on, creating a restaurant that feels personal, expressive and full of life.
